ServiceBuddy provides consumer members an easy to use form to submit project and service requests. These requests are automatically sent to the top 10 local service companies in the service category selected by the consumer. To view a sample Project Request:  click here

Projects are classified by the estimated budget as:

Small $0 - $499
Medium $500 - $2499
Large $2500 - $4999
Extra Large $5000+

The ServiceBuddy Difference
You do not pay to receive project requests. You will be able to review the service request in advance. It is your decision to accept, decline or request more details on the project. You will be able to communicate directly with the consumer via private message board to verify budget, timeline and project details before accepting the project. To bid on a project you will need ServiceBucks to submit your bid. ServiceBucks are your online currency used for paying and receiving ServiceBuddy based services. The number of ServiceBucks needed are based on the size of the project.

Once you have accepted a service request, the consumer will review each candidate's proposal.  Both consumer and business can ask and answer questions via a private message board to further refine the final proposals. Your online profile's content is very important at this stage. We encourage you to have your existing customers post reviews on projects or services you have provided. Once the consumer awards the project, all customer data will be displayed and communications can now proceed via phone or face-to-face meetings.

The negotiation of project price, scope and other details are handled in the same manner you would deal with any other new customer. ServiceBuddy does track which company is awarded the project and when completed, will automatically send an email to the customer thanking them for their business and requesting a review and rating of your services. ServiceBuddy also takes this opportunity to get feedback from both the consumer and service provider on the overall project request process and how we can improve it for both parties.
